MamaMaria is een Nederlands badmode label, ge inspireerd op de filmsterren van de jaren vijftig.
De badmode uit die tijd is hoger in de taille en lager bij de heup dan na de jaren vijftig. De meer lichaamsbedekkende ontwerpen van MamaMaria geven veel vrouwen een comfortabel gevoel met een chique strand outfit.

Alles is in kleine oplage en met de best verkrijgbare materialen gemaakt.

Ontwerpster is Ruth Kenter (1974), groeide op in Rosmalen en studeerde in 1997 af als modeontwerpster aan kunstacademie st. Joost. Woont en werkt vanaf 2003 in Amsterdam.

MamaMaria is a Dutch swimwear brand, originally inspired by the movie stars of the fifties. This means that the styles are cut higher in the waist and lower on the hips than most contemporary swimwear. The bathing suits and bikini's are elegant without being too revealing, which gives many women back the pleasure and confidence of wearing bathing suits.

All designs are manufactured in small quantities, using the best materials available.

Designer of the brand is Ruth Kenter (1974), who grew up in Rosmalen (near Den Bosch) and graduated in 1997 as fashion designer at the St. Joost Art Academy. Since 2003 she has been working and living in Amsterdam.
